RULES ABOUT PASSING IN DRIFT  (N/A)

There has been 2 very delicate passing during the day yesterday that even myself, I was really not sure of the judge decision.  Even if we have all on video, it seems that sometimes you got to go to the source to have concrete and clear explanation.  Remember also that the two DMCC judge has done it before !

As you will see on video anyway within 24 hours, there is a clear rule about passing in drift.  Drift is not any kind of race, the only circumstance where you can pass your opponent is when the leader loose the line. Otherwise, it is forbidden to pass inside or outside even if you keep a fantastic drift and that's the end of it !

So unfortunately, even if it's very spectacular and exciting like Patrick Cyr explained us, you may get the crowd's heart but not the points. Hope this will help people understand what happend yesterday with Carl Nadeau and Patrick Cyr.
